Here to start the weekend off right, Nike SB has just sent us a re-up on the two most requested shoes of July. We're not going to lie...We got this restock yesterday and only let those who follow our TWITTER know about it. So, a word to the wise, follow us on Twitter and you may end up a step ahead of the rest...

Thanks to Grandpa Nick and the folks over at The Kayo Corp., we were able to take the artwork of N.W.A's classic album, Straight Outta Compton, and make it our own.
 
 
So stop by the shop, take a look and scoop yours up before we sell out of this one. Oh, and to answer that last question...P5's your daddy!

There are a lot of really cool films in this years festival, and we're excited to be a part of it. "BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN" DUNK HIGH PREMIUM & MORE AVAILABLE NOW!!!

Ladies and gents, we're stoked to be able to present to you the Nike SB "Bruce Springsteen" Dunk High Premium. As we all know, the inspiration for the shoe is the cover of the landmark Bruce Springsteen album Born In The U.S.A. Here's a brief history lesson...
 

 
Released June 4, 1984, Born In The U.S.A. was the best-selling album of 1985 in the United States (and also Springsteen's most successful album ever). The album produced a string of seven Top 10 singles and also a worldwide concert tour. Maybe you've heard of a few of these Springsteen songs: "Dancing In The Dark", "Cover Me", "Born In The U.S.A.", "I'm On Fire", "Glory Days", "I'm Goin' Down" or "My Hometown". All of these smash hits were from this one album, so do yourself a favor before you come pick up a pair of these shoes...Grab a copy of Born In The U.S.A., play it and crank up the sound in your hatchback Honda Civic and think about how you'll never be able to create something that good!

GO SKATE DAY RECAP, P5IVE / CREATURE / MOB GRIP, NEW ADIDAS, & MORE!!!

So now that my hangover has finally started to subside, I can state officially that this was my favorite PALACE TO PULASKI to date. Every year this thing gets bigger and bigger, and this year was no exception. There were so many obstacles to overcome this year, and I'm glad that it all went down the way it did. I still don't know how I feel about getting calls from homeland security on my cell, but despite the legal hurdles we had to get over I think it was the biggest PALACE TO PULASKI to date. I don't have any official numbers yet, but I think it was well over 1,200-1,500 people skating. We have a blast doing this every year, and we truly couldn't do it without your support. Big thanks to all of our sponsors this year, KAYO, Huf, The Hundreds, Independent, Jon Wye, Spitfire, Girl Chocolate, Alien Workshop, Vans, & our boys at Rustico for hooking us up. The biggest thanks of all go out to you guys that came out and skated. I can't say it enough, we love doing this every year, and without you there wouldn't be a point. From everyone here at P5, Thank you for your continued support.
 
So, as you can imagine I was pretty busy running around this year, but when I wasn't yelling into a bullhorn, I managed to snap a few good photos. My lovely wife Kristen snapped a few of these as well, but check em out over at my FLICKR
